Punching
Punching shear calculation according to NEN-EN 1992-1-1.

Features
- Punching shear verification at column-slab connections
- Calculation of critical perimeter
- Reinforcement requirements
- Unity check output
Input

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Shape | Rectangular or circular column cross-section |
| Position | The position of the column: in the middle of the slab, at a slab edge, or at a corner. When placed at an edge or a corner the distances are dimensioned, and you can change them graphically |
| Concrete strength class | Choice of the concrete strength class |
| Reinforcing steel grade | Choice of the reinforcing steel grade |
| Longitudinal reinforcement in y-direction | The top reinforcement in the slab in the y-direction |
| Longitudinal reinforcement in z-direction | The top reinforcement in the slab in the z-direction |
| First layer | Setting which top reinforcement in the slab lies in the first layer |
| Cover | Cover on the outermost top reinforcement in the slab, in mm |
| Angle of punching shear reinforcement | Angle in degrees between the punching shear reinforcement and the plane of the slab |
| VEd | Design value of the punching force |
| qEd | Design value of the load on the slab. The effective punching force is reduced by this load, calculated over the area of the perimeter |
| Eccentricity ey | Eccentricity in mm in the y-direction of the punching force VEd. You can also change this value graphically, the same way you change dimension lines. This lets you take moments from the column into account on the slab |
| Eccentricity ez | Eccentricity in mm in the z-direction of the punching force VEd. You can also change this value graphically, the same way you change dimension lines |
