XConstruct Manual

Welcome to the XConstruct documentation.

XConstruct is the tool for every structural engineer.

XConstruct is a toolbox for the most common calculations. You can choose from several modules.

With each change, the calculation is started and the governing unity check is immediately displayed on screen.

XConstruct produces a very comprehensive and readable calculation report in RTF or PDF format. The output is fully transparent and therefore verifiable. No black-box calculation as you see in many other programs.

All formulas used are displayed completely and filled in, including a reference to the Eurocode. This gives you insight into the calculation and acceptance of your calculation by inspection authorities will be no problem.

In XConstruct you can save multiple calculations in one project file and create one output. Calculations can be copied, deleted and moved.

Eurocode Standards

Calculations fully according to the latest Eurocode:

  • NEN-EN 1992-1-1 + C2:2011/NB:2011 (nl) - Eurocode 2: Design and calculation of concrete structures
  • NEN-EN 1992-1-2 + C1:2011 (nl) - Eurocode 2: Fire design
  • NEN-EN 1993-1-1 + C2:2011 (nl) - Eurocode 3: Design and calculation of steel structures
  • NEN-EN 1993-1-1 + C2:2011/NB:2011 (nl) - National Annex for Eurocode 3
  • NEN-EN 1995-1-1 + C2:2011 (nl) - Eurocode 5: Design and calculation of timber structures
